With over 20 years of experience in web, systems, and mobile engineering, Kass is a seasoned executive who has held executive positions at top technology companies including NBC, Yahoo, and Fox Sports, along with CEO and VP Engineering positions at startups, including Porivo, which built ground-breaking cloud-computing-based Internet performance measurement products that became industry standards.
Earlier in his career, Kass was a software developer at Sun Microsystems, where he later led productization of Sun’s first Solaris operating system release.
Kass earned a MS in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles.
